STUDENT RESEARCH GRANT

The Southern California Academy of Sciences provides annual grants to graduate and undergraduate students. The winners present their research at the following year’s Annual Meeting. Grant award winners are announced during the Annual Meeting.

SCAS STUDENT AWARDS

Undergraduate or graduate students working towards a degree who elect to participate are eligible for Best Paper or Poster awards. Awards are allocated at the judges’ discretion based upon the quality and number of presentations.

AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES RESEARCH BIOLOGISTS (AIFRB)

Award for Best Student Paper in Fisheries Biology The Southern California and Baja California, Mexico District of the AIFRB has granted cash awards to honor graduate and undergraduate students of fisheries-related papers presented at the annual meeting of the Southern California Academy of Sciences.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PARASITOLOGISTS

Award for Best Student Paper in Parasitology The Southern California Parasitologists grants a cash award to honor graduate students of parasitology-related papers presented at the annual meeting of the Southern California Academy of Sciences.
